In January this year I was a mother to a 1 year-old, a wife & a full-time business woman. I was on holiday with my family & unhappy with my body, which I felt would never be the same after having a baby! This resulted in lower self-confidence & I was always tired. I saw the RIPPED FREAK 12 Week Challenge & told my husband about it, saying we should try it for the new year. In the back of my head i was hoping this would not just be another failed attempt. We have all been there – no time to gym, too busy to prepare food. We entered the challenge and were both committed!
We started with the eating & training plan, we said we would give it a month & see how it works. It was HARD! No-one can tell you something like this is easy! I made the commitment & I was going to stick to it. I was lucky to have my husband there to push me that much further & remind me just to give it the 4 weeks & it would be worth it! We had to make big changes to the make the time fit in the workouts & make sure we are prepared for the next day. It is so true what they say “Fail to prepare, prepare to fail”. The end of week 4 arrived & the results we were seeing were amazing! I felt stronger & had so much energy! Not to mention the loss of 7 kg’s. If this is what 4 weeks had done, imagine what I can achieve in another 8 weeks.
In the next 8 weeks, I fell in love with the PHARMAFREAK products. I am very sensitive to stimulants but I only had positive effects from the RIPPED FREAK Hybrid Fat Burner. We also became very creative with the whey – we created protein pancakes & delicious smoothies. This is very important, get creative, make it exciting! It needs to become a lifestyle & not a diet. I love the Cookies & Cream RIPPED FREAK Protein, mixed with a dash of cinnamon, ice & water, popped into a NutriBullet, tasted like a Cinnabon!
